Using the BOSU balance trainer you will be challenged not only to expand
your movement and reshape your body but also to strengthen your body

From the novice to the fitness expert, bosu boot camp has something for
everyone. Using the BOSU as a launching pad to challenge the body at the
highest level. This class focuses on a blend of core strength, cardio,
and muscle endurance; using resistance bands, weights and of course, the
BOSU. Here we will incorporate a functional aspect to fitness with hard
work ethics. The 60-minute class involves the use of the BOSU Balance Trainer,
a vinyl dome that resembles a physioball sliced in half, with the other
side being a flat platform. BOSU(TM), an acronym for "both sides utilized," is
named for the equipment’s special ability to be "flipped over" during
the workout, revealing different surfaces, each with its own strength-training
advantages.
BOSU Bootcamp challenges participants by constantly changing the participant's
center of gravity, providing a workout that enhances core stability and
balance. The constant shifting of gravity reduces repetitive impact on
the joints and the increased flexibility and reflex reactions can help
the body avoid injury. And best of all, people of any fitness level can
participate in and benefit from the class.
